Awesome Camera but no memory card?

This digital camera takes amazing pictures. However, it promises HD videos but does not mention in the description that you need a memory card in order to take videos or more than 8 pictures. I've been looking online for a memory card for this camera and still haven't found one due to poor description on exactly what kind of memory card this camera takes. There are many different kinds of Sony memory cards. Which one does this camera take?

I ordered this camera in silver, and have had it for two days now. It takes great pictures and videos with lots of settings for different lighting and activities.( Pet, Gourmet, smile detector, timer, panoramic...etc.) I chose to overlook a few of the unhappy comments and I'm glad I did. I haven't printed any pictures yet, but what shows on the screen looks perfect. It has good battery life as long as you charge it right when it blinks to indicate that it needs charging, and if you don't unplug it while it is still charging. I am very happy with my product.

I have just purchased this camera and have yet to use it. However, I have tried to charge it and while it has been on charge for two days at no time did the charging light on the camera come on. What is my problem?

Super simple to use, has just what I need and not a lot of what I don't. Small enough to stick in my pocket. Used it right out of the box without even reading directions. Love that it self adjust to lighting and distance, etc. Also like the easy panoramic setting.
