I would give no stars if i could!

This refrigerator is a complete piece of junk. I have only had it for 2 years and already need a new one. The ice maker stopped making ice and is completely frozen, despite defrosting it it still freezes up. Now it leaks water nonstop and doesn’t make any ice. I’ve had it repaired a few times but it is something faulty with the design. I own all Samsung appliances (washer, dryer, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator) and all of my tv’s are Samsung. I would never buy a Samsung appliance again! There are more complaints online then not about this product and i believe a class action lawsuit as well! Terrible!

Disappointment

door ice dispenser/maker froze repeatedly starting @ 18 mos. hundred$ repair. tech says such calls are common. condensate drain freezes, water collects at bottom of fridge and freezes/leaks to floor.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Flaw in Design

my insurance refused to fix the ice maker. fridge is also freezing everything. a samsung design flaw that the ice maker should not be inside the fridge portion. there is an ongoing class action suit.

ice maker starting failing shortly after warranty expired. now, only 2 years later, it is not functioning at all! according to tech, it is known samsung design problem, to which there's no solution

Known issues

it constantly needed to be repaired and froze up do to not draining properly. i had to have it replaced within two years. in addition, the main shelf cracked because it doesn’t have proper support.

Door won't seal - Causing moisture buildup

door became warped just outside of warranty (sagging very badly). no longer seals -- i suspect it's always been this way and i just never noticed until it got real bad.
