Great lighting and Space

I've never had a French Door refrigerator and needed counter depth. The French Door arrangement easily allows me to fit everything I need inside.
Also, icemaker is extremely quiet
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Fridge

Once you get familiarized with the refrigerator is really easy to use it. In the beginning I had a bit of trouble understanding how the controls bottons work. Once I figured it out it was really easy. Excellent performance and nice design.
Pros: Bright display

Good fridge, worlds worst ice delivery system

I bought this refrigerator based on the design (french door) and the support system for the shelves. (All on rollers) what I failed to notice was the ice maker :( The ice maker is located in the refrigerator and not the freezer. Therefore there is not a way to manually scoop ice unless you physically remove the tray from the refrigerator first. Although there is a dispenser on the door that has a "cube" option I have found that the ice you receive is about half crushed and half cubed. The ice cubes made are crescent shaped and the smallest I have seen produced by any ice maker/refrigerator. I have resorted to emptying the ice maker into a bowl and keeping that bowl in the freezer department. Extremely disappointing.

Counter Depth Freezer is a Disappointment

I have always owned a side-by-side counter depth refrigerator. I selected the French Door counter depth refrigerator due to the flexibility of placing a 13 x 9 pan in the frig easily. I did not expect that the freezer would have been the issue. I HAD more room in my counter depth side-by-side freezer than I do in this counter depth DRAWER freezer. The freezer drawer does not open wide so I have to bend down to see what is in the back of the freezer. Since I have less room in the freezer I am forced to freeze less items in my freezer and I am finding myself shopping more often. The store that we purchased this refrigerator from did not have a counter depth on display. The freezer door opens plenty wide in the regular size frigs so we did not even think this would be an issue in the counter depth. I agree with the other review that the ice maker is very loud and does not make produce much ice for how loud it is.
Pros: looks nice
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

French Door Refrigerator

Purchased this refrigerator, model no. RF23HCEDBSR, in September, 2014. Starting in March, 2016, we have had any number of repairs on this fridge. Luckily we purchased a 5-year warranty from the appliance store where it was purchased. In June, the appliance store made the decision to replace our refrigerator as it was costing them too much money to repair. We now have a new Samsung French Door fridge, and I certainly hope we don't have any problems with this one.
Pros: nice design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's hard to work with

The refrigerator is fairly good with adjustable shelving. The french door freezer is real poor. The design of the drawer in the freezer is awful. You can't slide it back to get underneath without it coming off the track and then causing you to have to fight it back on track. This happened before adding food and after weight was in it. A very poor design that should be simple to operate and is not!
To make an electronic panel on the door and not include a clock seems really cheap. Can't cost much to add a clock feature.
Changing the temp for either freezer or refrig is poor. A simple up and down arrow system would be a lot better if not a keypad to punch in the temp you want.
Filter alarm went off after a month in service and no reason. Right in middle of getting ice, it stopped and no water either. Pushed the alarm and things work again. I wonder for how long??
Real irritating thing about this ice maker is how long it takes to get ice after pushing the lever in back to start it.
Last - I am at this point because i have been run around trying to register the refrigerator so i can get an instruction book. Want to find out why the filter alarm went off when it is supposed to be at least 6 months before that happens the first time, not one month.
