well lit and good space for counter depth. Wish it had the measured ounces that were dispensed as a feature for the outside water dispenser

Bad design for ice maker

Great looking fridge but have had problems with it maintaining temps and the ice maker started having problems after 10 months. Small ice bucket, slushy ice and slow ice production.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, ice maker
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the best fridge ever! I love the LED lights, the freezer at the bottom is so convenient and stores a lot! It has so many user friendly features and highly recommend this.

The Purchase ever

When I had to replace my 9yr old refrigerator I was challenged by getting a white one that would fit in my customized kitchen. White refrigerators are no longer common as the stainless steal beasts seam to be more popular. No other companies had anything to offer in replacing it. Not only was it the right color and size but the features are the best ever. The warranty itself on the compressor can not be matched by any other company. Way to go Samsung

This fridge isn't stunning to look at, and is so spacious even though it is a counter-depth model. I am very happy with the performance as well as along the features

Samsung how I hate your Ice maker

This refrigerator has been in our home for 8 months. It was the model the builder was providing and it looked great in the showroom.
The first thing I learned while filling the fridge was that the Ice maker takes up a third of the left side of the fridge and the narrow shelves on the door are too small to hold a bottle of water or soda can. they show it with children's juice boxes but even that must be a tight squeeze. I use it for sticks of butter.
My second complaint is the quality of the ice cubes. They are white and frosty. When added to a carbonated beverage they cause it to foam excessively - depleting the desired carbonation. We have changed the filter and checked the flow of water but still white ice cubes not clear hard ice. A point to consider: you never have access to bulk ice. You can't reach in and get a pound of ice for a cooler. It must be dispensed through the door, a slow process.
The crushed ice option is my husbands favorite. The various sized pieces of ice come shooting out of the chute and only a portion end up in the glass, the rest are on the floor.
We have already had the bottom freezer serviced. They replace the rails and closing mechanism because there was a small gap on one side. We discovered this was an issue when returning to the house after being gone for three months. We were unable to open the freezer door. The entire top drawer was full of a glacier of ice that formed. We had to defrost the fridge for two days to melt it and have three service calls. One to say, after it melted, that it was fine. One to see the ice when it started to reform and one to replace the rails, gasket and closing mechanism.
My advice: wait for a redesign
