I love my new fridge

I always had a top freezer refrigerator and wanted to try the French door style with a bottom drawer freezer. Wow!! I love it. I know what is in my fridge and usually open only one door to quickly grab something. It's a pleasure. Also, the double freezer drawer makes it easy to get everyday items stored in the top drawer. I use the bottom drawer for storage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love The Ice!

I have had this fridge for a short period of time but am really happy with the purchase, the features and the ICE! I'm an ice junkie - I really love the little balls of ice that come out of commercial machines. The ice from this fridge is perfect for me because when you bite into the ice, it breaks apart. Some might feel the ice is too white, but that's what makes it a "softer" ice. I'm thinking there is a way to make it more clear and hard, but that is NOT what I want.
I like the layout inside and find it pretty nice for my needs. Not a lot of door rack space but sufficient for me. I think Samsung makes a good product.
Pros: matches the stainless on my non-samsung dishwasher, quiet operation, good interior lighting
Cons: not feeling any cons
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ice Maker is Poor Design

1. The ice maker does not produce enough ice. 2. The internal components frost over and ice gets stuck. Stops producing ice frequently (weekly). 3. When you press for ice water squirts out first. 4. Problems started one year after purchase. 5. Had it serviced and problem continues. 6. Motor for ice maker makes a loud noise.
Cons: Poor quality

Multiple failures in ice maker

I have owned the counter depth refrigerator for 1 year and 8 months. We have had the ice maker worked on MONTHLY since August 2016 a total of 5 service claims. The ice maker is still Having the same exact issue. We are awaiting the warranty center to resolve the issue. The last service repairman states the ice maker was "unrepairable"! NOT ACCEPTABLE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS REFRIGERATOR AT ALL!!! Model #RF23HCEDBSR/AA

Ice Maker Breaks as soon as Warranty Ends

We enjoyed this refrigerator very much for the first year or so of owning it. It is attractive and the interior is versatile. However, after owning it for just over a year, the ice maker stopped working. It freezes over inside and then cannot make or release ice. For a while, we could fix it by resetting the ice maker... Which we began to have to do with increasing frequency - multiple times a week. A quick search online reveals that this is not an isolated problem. If you purchase this refrigerator, go ahead and start saving for the repairs you'll need in a year or so!

I’ve owned this for about four years. About six months ago the icemaker stopped working. At this point I need to deice the icemaker with a hairdryer to get it to work again. I need to do this every two weeks. There is no fix for this. Read the Samsung community boards before purchasing. It’s a big problem.

do not waste your money. the icemaker freezes up at least every other week. you'll tear your hands up trying to break the ice out so it will start "making ice" (all 3 pieces it produces) again.
