Very poor Wi-Fi connection, can't scan

Very poor Wi-Fi connection (but it shows that it's "very good"). As result every second scan returns error! Absolute useless product if you don't want to use wired connection! Don't buy it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this printer because it copies, prints, scans and does it easily and quietly. The print copies are sharp and professional.. don't waste your time and effort on anything else. This printer is amazing and worth every cent. When my husbands printer goes out, he wants one too. He's so jealous of mine! Thanks for a great product. Did I say I love it?

Mostly good but background colors not good

The foreground colors come out in proper color but when the document has background color like light grey, they come out either as light yellow or come out with white lines on top of the background color.
I am using 32 lbs HP color paper which has 100 brightness.
The color shades and quality is a problem for most color printers in this range and this one has a better quality for foreground colors so it will still work for us (simply because none better is available in this price range). However, when the technology improves with time, we might go for a better one.

I deliberately over-purchased; I do not need the capacity now. Easy to install, does great on regular paper printing, good color quality. I've yet to try on scrapbook/photo paper but anticipate great results. She's a heavy beast. Only problem? I need a longer cable to connect to the computer, so had to do some re-arranging. I've not tried the wifi function but anticipate it'll do great too. My daughter was using my 15-year old HP hand-me-down printer. I've always had great luck with HP printers, even refurbished ones, which this laser is not.

I’m extremely pleased with this printer. It is versatile, robust, and fits nicely on an average size table. Installation and setup were quick and easy, including wifi, after which everything checked out well. I also have third party scan software and configuration was a ‘no brainer.’ I highly recommend this printer, but be sure to set it on a very sturdy table or stand since the unit is quite heavy.

Prints Gibberish

I have used the printer 6 times so far. Four out of six
times it printed gibberish...just a bunch of mixed text some text were printed over each other. Not sure why this is happening but it is disappointing. I can only give it one star.

its a laser jet so it takes a few seconds to start printing pages. once it starts going it will go fast. theres a lot of features and so far they've worked as well as id expect.
