its a nice frig/freezer

this is the second one and I still have trouble . the first one had a bad door seal so I got a new one . after two weeks the second one now has a loose door handle , and some time this weekend i'll go into store and complain once again to get this problem taken care of . I understand that things happen , but this is becoming a large pain because I have to get ice for 4 coolers take everything out of frig/freezer wait until new one gets here , then wait until next day to put it all away . so how do you really think I feel . love the looks but that doesn't keep my food . thanks for reading this

More than we expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was purchased for our outdoor kitchen, after another brand failed to even make ice outdoors. We have a shade, covered, very large patio, and needed a refrigerator with icemaker for beverage and condiment storage.
We originally purchased an 18 cu. ft. appliance by another brand, had their icemaker kit professionally installed, all to get only one batch of ice cubes in 1 weeks' time. Freezer temperature cranked all the way to it's lowest, and then if not removed immediately, they would melt.
Sent that one back, got the new Frigidaire, couldn't be happier. it cost a tad more, but after cleaning it, hooking it up, levelling it, and setting the temps to the recommended settings (NOT all the way), we had ice within 6 hours, solidly frozen, and a short time later, very plentiful.
Lots more room, quieter, and it has the works in the door.

New home build - builders upgraded frig.

I would not recommend this fridge. Less than 1 week of moving into new home the water dispenser quit working. Called in warranty service call. Water dispenser was fixed then less than 1 week later ice maker quit working. Another service call and was told by serviceman that they have replaced the ice maker in several units. We also have the knocking noise when the ice maker is on and making ice. Very annoying and distracting. I would be embarrassed if we had company. I plan to call for a service call again but it sounds like this can't be fixed from previous reviews.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Crushed ice rules!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator as a replacement. I wanted a refrigerator that had features I was looking for (water/ice on the door) and wasn't cost prohibitive. This model provides both of these wants/needs. I was limited to the size because of the location it needed to fit into so I did get the same cubic feet as I had before. I feel limited in space because my old model had the freezer on the bottom, but I am adjusting! Overall, I am very happy!

Pretty
Fits in my tiny little space and matches other appliances
Water tastes good unlike I have experienced with some other fridges
Cons:
Ice cubes keep jamming up
Freezer door sometimes doesn't close
Shelves aren't as sturdy as I had hoped
No possible way to really put a pizza in it's designated spot
