Wish i had waited to Buy

Being a senior and on a limited budget when our old Sears Kenmore went out looked and knowing we had a size (width) and cost to consider we went with this one. Not what we really wanted. Even though I have spent money on this I would buy a better one in a moment if I had the money. 1) There is NO water holder that means the ice is the only thing that chills the water. In short if you want water you might as well get it from the tap. 2) The ice maker sounds like a locomotive. I have never heard so much noise in my life and my hearing isn't that good anymore. It cools ok so far. Wish I could say I am happy but like the old saying- You get what you pay for. This is my first and most likely last Frigidaire. And yes I am planning on getting a better one as soon as I can.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disappointed

I bought this item a little over a year ago and the ice maker has stopped working. It decided to stop just a week after the manufacturer warranty expired. Was satisfied until this happened. It is only my wife and I in the house and we only use the ice maker portion for what ever we are drinking. It was never used for filling coolers or had to be run for a long time. I expected more from Frigidaire.

Awful

I purchased this fridge a couple of months ago. After it was installed I noticed a loud knocking noise. This knocking noise would occur throughout the day but seemed to occur the most at night. I contacted the place where I got it from and they did not know what the issue was. So I had to schedule them to replace it. So they replaced it with the same model fridge. However, this fridge also had this knocking noise, but it was louder. So I called the place again. They said that they had not been experiencing any complaints with this issue with that fridge. So they came out to look at it. The guy had to call someone at his work to see what the issue was because he did not know what it was. The person at this work said that it was something with the evaporation system and they had others experiencing this issue (so they must have had complaints before). He said he would contact Frigidaire to see what could be done. Of course, he never called and never called me back even though he said he would. After I called him several times with no answer and no return call to my messages, I called the place where I bought it. They replaced it again. Again, there is a knocking noise. I don't know what the issue is, but buying this fridge has been a nightmare and has been such a hassle!!

BAD ICE MAKER

PURCHASED 2 DAYS AGO ICE MAKER NOT WORKING, WATER VALVE FOR ICE MAKER DOES NOT SHUT COMPLETELY AND FILL ICE BIN WITH WATER TILL IT DRIPS OUT THE FRONT AND DOWN FRONT OF FRIG.

Love it!

We have wanted a side by side for a long time but we were afraid there wouldn't be enough room in it. (We had to have a 33" instead of standard 36"). We bought it anyway and we love it. There is plenty of room in fridge and freezer. The ice maker and water are the best parts. The filter system is wonderful. It's the best tasting water we've ever had. Used to have a Britta pitcher but this tastes so much better and it's so convenient. My husband even drinks water now! I'm so glad we took the chance.

Bought about 3 months ago. The ice maker broke , but they were very quick about fixing it. Everything else has been great. Love the layout of drawers. Much more convenient
