Perfect for a family with a couple of youngsters

Although our old refrigerator was on its last legs, we still had time to look around for a unit that could fit into a 33" wide space AND have a water/ice dispenser. Choices were few, but expensive. After looking and comparing refrigerators, we decided on this Frigidaire model.
Installation was extremely easy. Flush the water line, hook it up simply in the back, flush the interior water line, push it easily into the narrow space, and Bob's your uncle.
It quickly made a bin full of ice, and I particularly like the crushed aspect of it. There's a bit more cubic footage in this model than our old unit, so we're quite happy with the storage. Particularly nice are the door gallon jug shelves.
There are no undue noises. I read many reviews, some negative and really bought this with a jaundiced eye
And have not experienced the smoking, smells or other unusual noises. We like the refrigerator and intend to keep it for years.

Mediocre fridge

Nothing more than a mediocre fridge. Cheap plastic parts, one handle in front ALWAYS gets loose. MUST CHANGE WATER FILTER EVER 3-4 MONTH, not every 6-9 months as advertised.

Classy style with Good Extras!

Loved the Frigidaire, with its classy look. The fridge worked well for the 1st year and then the seals came loose on the fridge door (not covered in the extended warranty) and the water and ice dispenser both quit at the same time. I would reconsider buying any Electrolux/Frigiaire product in the future but would willing to reconsider having this company's product if they would replace my 1 year old existing Frigidaire.

Disappointed Customer

Bought a Frigidaire Fridge in May 2015 and have been greatly disappointed. After having it two weeks the ice maker go's out and we wake up to water all over our kitchen floor. Every since this happened the fridge has been giving off and awful smell and no one seems to know why. I would love to take it back. I feel I should have received some kind of compensation for all the aggravation I've gotten from this brand new out of the box fridge

The residential refrigerator with the built in ice maker is just what the doctor, wife, ordered and makes our RVing experience soooo much better.

Small Fridge, Leaky Ice Dispenser

I bought this fridge when I bought my first home because it came without appliances, the fridge space is small and you can't fit a pizza box in either the fridge side or freezer side for that matter and the ice dispenser shoots crushed ice all over the floor when you dispense ice into a cup. Also crushed ice gets stuck in the dispenser then melts and runs down the front of the fridge. The front of it scratched very easily, so you'll probably want to skip any magnets.

We want to personally thank you for sharing your important quality and design concerns. I recommend checking your water supply pressure if you are experiencing ice “shooting” from the dispenser. Water supply pressure should fall between 30 psi and 100 psi. Excessive pressure may cause water filter to malfunction. Also, remember if your ice maker is jamming with small ice cubes or it’s been six months or longer since you last changed your water filter replace the water filter with a new one. Poor quality household water may require the filter to be changed more frequently. Please feel free to contact us directly, if we can be of any assistance. Good product

I have had my side by side Frigidaire for 6 months. During the 6th month, the water dispenser and ice maker stopped working. I called Frigidaire and they were able to schedule a service call within a couple of days. The tech came out and it turns out that our settings were too cold. Our settings had frozen the filter. Other than that it is wonderful. I highly recommend this product.
