Best Washer on the Market

This is the second set of LG washer and dryer combination and works even better than the first. Great settings including a sanitation cycle. The wife washes everyday and have had no problems. If she is happy, I am happy!

Quality washer with many features

Washer has a lot of great features, but I rarley use them. I love the washer, but wish I had chosen a less expensive washer with fewer features. I have not had any problems with the washer.

Works as advertised

I can't compare this to other front-loaders since it's our first one. We bought it based on the Consumer Reports reviews. It seems fine after two months: quiet, quicker to wash than I expected, and does a good job cleaning. Is it quieter than others? I don't know. The spin cycle does cause some movement but less than I expected. Clothes come out very dry. The TurboWash option speeds up washing nicely. We almost never use the steam cycle. What would I change? The washer cycles water on and off hard. Even with water hammer arrestors the pipes bang. The manual could have more info on using special cycles. And the end chime isn't very loud. Some parts feel "plasticky" (detergent drawer, front panel) so I hope they hold up. Oh, and we were sold stainless steel water hoses to replace the originals -- only to hear that these might void the warranty since they're not LG approved! Overall, we're happy with the washer. If we were buying again we might go with one size smaller -- the capacity really is huge!

Water use is minimum, clothes come out cleaner than other washers I've had, and drying time is cut down considerably.

A fantastic washer with a variety of useful settings. We have a newborn and this appliance has been superb in getting rid of various stains. The machine is very quiet as well.

I previously had a top loader with plastic knobs that broke constantly. The display and features are wonderful and the capacity has been a life saver. Washes large items without having to wonder if they're clean.

Very Impressive

We bought our first front loader in 2002 and will never go back to a top loader. Our daughter bought an LG front loading washer and an LG matching dryer a couple years ago. It was impressive and we decided then to consider LG when our current washer or dryer bit the dust. When our 1994 dryer quit drying we decided to replace it and the washer. After researching the various brands and models, we decided on this washer and the matching dryer.
