Worth the Cost

I bought this washer and the matching dryer to replace my Kenmore washer which finally gave out after 20 years of faithful service. Needless to say I was in a bit of sticker shock when I started to price new washers and dryers. After looking at Consumer Reports I realized that LG had some of the best washers on the market. I chose this model based on its efficiency, features, and performance. After 3 months of use, I'm glad I spent the cash. Yes, I could have bought something similar to my old Kenmore, but I would be doing twice the number of loads and wasting much more water & detergent. This LG sips the water, is super quiet (except when it is sensing the load), and everything comes out really clean. I find I'm spending much less time doing laundry, which frees up time for more important things.

Excellent machine

Like machine but was surprised to be advised that the Tide HE Pods could not be used only the liquid detergent, which is a bit annoying as had Tide HE Pods from last machine. Other than that very happy with machine so far.

I bought the washer and dryer pair after years of mediocre top loaders. With twin boys I find myself doing a great deal of laundry. I did my research ahead of time and all the arrows pointed to LG. Once I started comparing models, I decided to use Consumer Report(r).
I have only had the pair for about 5 weeks and it has performed extremely well. Happy with my purchase.

Excellent energy efficient washer

We've now had the washer for a little over a month. Although the controls look complicated (and cool, too), they actually turn out to be very easy to use. Neither my wife nor I have had any problems operating the washer. We appreciate the various cycles, including steam and we really appreciate the fact that the washer uses very little water to get clothes clean.
It is sleek and attractive. One minor suggestion would be to have more contrast between the lettering on the washer and the background. You can easily read it directly in front of the washer, but it is a little harder from above.
We recommend it highly.

I bought this washer to replace an aging Kenmore Elite. So far it has lived up to its promises. I like the different wash cycles especially towel cycle and the steam option is great for sheets. I also like the quietness of the washer and ease of use. The only thing I would add would be a visual clothes clean signal just to show me it has finished in case I don't hear the chime.

Love my new front load LG Waher and Dryer

I bought my washer and dryer a month now and Love them. I love the style and most of all the performance in my washer and dryer. My washer does not take but two table spoons of detergent, this means a lot of savings the wash turns out great. At first the washer was making a lot of noise but learned that all I needed was to adjust the bottom of the washer with the special key the washer and dryer came with and no more noise!. Is very quite and I like the music that plays when the laundry is finished. Much better that loud long beep my old washer made .. Never thought I would enjoy doing laundry. LOVE IT, LOVE IT ...
