This washer & dryer do an excellent job.

It was a big step for me to go from a top to a front loading washer, but I'm sold. The laundry comes out so clean and well-spun. The big capacity lets me get more done at a time. I love all the specialized settings and the fact that I can modify those settings. I love the way the washer senses the size of the load before it starts the washing. I like the tune the machines play when they're finished. Plus they're very sleek looking.

We only have been using this washer for a month but its great and uses a lot less water. We have not used all the features yet but the ones we have used have done a great job.

Great machine-great features

Have had machine for approx 1 month now with no issues at all. Both washer and dryer are on pedestals which makes loading and unloading easy. Machine is easy to use and as previous owners have stated: wipe down door and inside rubber seal after each wash. Leave door cracked open (u can hardly tell it is open) This will prevent damp odor from drum. Compared to our last machine (top loader) difference is night and day. Got a great deal on washer and dryer and would highly recommend machine to anyone considering a front loader.

Excellent Performance!!

This machine does an excellent job! We did our king size comforter and it came out looking like new after having it for years. Stains in my clothes are starting to come out. It has made doing laundry fun. "lets see if the machine can get this out"

We live in Hawaii, are reliant on septic tank to process the household waste water, and have very expensive water and electricity consumption charges. These three facts drove our search for efficient products.
The LG washer is brilliant in all aspects, it is efficient in the use of water and electricity, and has wash features to further maximise our use of these resources (eg quick wash for small loads).
The steam function is awesome.
The appliances (we have the dryer also) are both also very quiet.

A new level of clean

As others note, the allergine and santize cycles take some time, but the results are unbelievable. Actually, the total laundry time isn't really that bad because the clothes come out very dry and take almost no time in the dryer. Most importantly, we were blown away when some of our outside clothes with stains that had been there for over a year came out perfectly clean!
After a ton of reasearch, we ultimately decided that LG washers and dryers are definitely the way to go. Now that we've used them, we couldn't be happier.
