Fantastic washer

We bought this front loader as a part of a pair of LG energy efficient machines. This washer is also met our town's water conservation standards as well. It has been a real help and clothes have been continually showing fewer stains and get done faster and easier. It also looks really great in the new location we prepared for the pair of machines.

This is an awesome washer. It has made doing the laundry a pleasure. The washer is so easy to use and it has so many useable features. The washer is efficient and our laundry comes out much cleaner than with our old washer. I am very happy with this purchase.

Loving the many options

This washer has been a godsend to my household with its many options for washing. We have washed many things and they have all come out exceptionally clean. My husband had to comment on how much cleaner his black jeans were and how much cleaner all of the laundry is compared to our last washer. We have tried and love every feature from the allergen feature to the permanent press cycle, which actually produces less wrinkles. My family loves it so much they often fuss over whose turn it is to wash. This is a miracle in and of it self!!!

I have used most of the cycles and features. I love the load sensing. Waiting to see the changes in my water bill. It does make some noise in some of the cycles, like any other washing; read your manual and you will see why. Otherwise, an excellent washer. Be careful fitting in a small area, may not fit. This is both the washer and dryer.

It's very rare that I find a product that not only meets but exceeds my expectation and to top it all, it truly meets all what you expected and beyond, that you call it beautiful!

Washing machine has several useful features

It has been a little over a month since LG washing machine WM3470HVA was installed at my house.
Washing machine has 12 wash cycles and 6 options to choose from. The machine drum has a large capacity and it can take a large load of clothes. I found the washing machine is very easy to use.
I tried about 4 wash cycles and 4 options so far. The wash cycle I use most commonly is Cotton / Normal. Although most of the wash cycles and options are intuitive to use I found it necessary to read the user manual to understand some of the cycles & options. Washing machine operates in 4 phases - load sensing, washing, rinsing & spinning.
During the first few loads I did on the machine it gave load thumping noise during the load sensing and wash phases. Then I opened the machine during the wash cycle and re-arranged the clothes to spread the weight evenly on both sides and the noise went away. Since then I pay more attention when loading the clothes to distribute weight to both sides evenly. The thumping sound continues to occur during load sensing phase which is the first 3 to 4 minutes and I am not sure if I can eliminate it completely.
I found the machine to be loudest during rinse and spin phases. Vibration is noticeable during wash & rinse phases. Since washer & dryer are located at the same level as bedrooms in my home I am quite sensitive to noise level.
I liked the steam options and ColdWash and I think those are some strong features of his machine.
Per user manual the TurboWash option saves time without sacrificing performance however I am not sure if this option saves time significantly.
I found the machine does excellent job of cleaning the clothes and I felt it is a good value for money overall. I'll recommend it to anyone having to do large loads of clothes regularly.
