I have been using the Tide pods and there is always leftover detergent and residue in the compartment. If I use the powdered pods, they are almost completely intact after running a cycle. My clothes do not come out smelling as fresh as with my old washer. I do not know how clean my clothes are really getting and do not understand why the detergent is not dissolving.

I've found the cyles on this washer are long compared to my last washer. My clothes are not coming out as clean, especially the whites. Also, it's very noisy and vibrates alot when I have heavy loads like jeans. The one thing I do like is that it spins the clothes nearly dry and it has a good amount of settings.

I hate this washing machine

I wish that i did not get this washing machine. I researched and shopped around and finally picked this one because of the good reviews. I knew it would be more work and was willing to put in the extra effort. Unfortunately the washing machine does not get clothes clean. The first month of using this washing machine the rubber gasket odor was so strong it permeated my clothes and made everything smell like skunk. I have read the manuel 100 times and i do everything recommended and still my clothes come out not as fresh as they should. There is still body odor in my husbands shirts!!!! My clothes always got super clean in my top loader. I would never recommend this washer to anyone. I hate that i am stuck with this thing and i think that you just need more water to get things clean.

Love this washer. I've used nearly every wash cycle at some point in the past 6 months I have had the washer. With my husband and I plus twin toddlers, we wash clothes constantly. I have been impressed by the amount of clothes I can stuff in the washer and do many less loads than I used to. I have yet to be disappointed by this machine. Wiping it down after each wash and a monthly clean out of the drain hose and filter can be a little annoying but I find it to be worth the quality job the machine does. I have been in love since day one!! haha
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, load sizes

WORST WASHER - DON'T BUY

Washer is only 9 months old and leaks after every 3-4 loads!!!!! Waiting for service call.
Never cleaned well even when new."Walks" all of the time when spinning and it is level. Low spin for delicates is a joke sounds no different than high spin. Worst purchase ever - will never buy another LG washer, especially a front loader.

Super Large Tub

I love the large tub in this washer. I can wash queen size comforters with ease. Love the many settings which accomodate any type of wash load, even delicates/hand washables. So easy to use. Only issue is the End tone isn't loud enough. It is a cute tune, but if you're not in the laundry room area, you don't hear it. Same with the dryer. But that's a small issue compared to the wonderful features.

Great performance, quiet. Like the steam cycle. Gets clothes clean and extracts water so they dry faster. Many options for cycles.

I no longer have to worry if my clothes are going to come out clean when I wash them. My LG cleans great on all the different cycles. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner!!
