We were debating on getting this one or one that was about $200 cheaper. We are glad we went with this model. It has steam dry which helps prevent wrinkles. I also like speed dry when you have a small load and are in a rush. Takes about 25 minutes.
The design is very good and it just makes the house look better. Very high tech design.
Only drawback was the price, but it is becoming worth it. We hope this machine will last. If it does, it's a no brainer to purchase this machine.

Wise investment

We purchase both an LG Front Loader washer and dryer. The dryer is wonderful and the steam option is amazing. No need to iron becuase this does the job. It is a wonderful tool, time saving technology and a wise investment.

No Better Dryer under the Sun (Literally!)

I selected this LG dryer to complement my new LG washer. Unlike my previous Duet dryer, my clothes come out fresh, wrinkle free and in less time than ever before. The sensor in this LG dryer perfectly detects when the clothes are dry. The custom cycles available for delicate, heavy and other categories of laundry insure a perfect result every time. The steam feature saves me time and money refreshing items that used to go to the dry cleaners. I never thought that a dryer would be the appliance that I looked forward to using, but that is exactly how I feel about my LG dryer with Steam!

I looked and compared other brands and models for about a year before choosing this dryer. It had the best features and ratings. I have had it about a month or so. I absolutely Love it! If my clothes sit in the dryer and get wrinkled, I can add a little steam and NO ironing! It dries a large load much quicker than my other name brand dryer did. You can put your pillows or blankets in and freshen them up. If you are looking for a great dryer with steam, this is the one. Check it out.

Quiet, quick and efficient

Loving my new dryer. Works as advertised. Have not used the steam setting yet, but should be better than steaming up my bathroom. Heavy stuff like my husbands fleece lined jeans dry in one cycle. Used to take 3 cycles on the old machine. I'm a happy laundress.

Perfect temp control never over drys

This unit couldn't be simpler to use. You open the door stick the clothes in turn the dial to match the type of clothes you put in and press start. It tells you how much time it's going to take and plays a tune to let you know it's time. And if your late it tumbles things around patiently waiting for you to come. The clothes are perfectly dry, not hot and overdried, but just the way they should so you don't have to worry that they won't fit when you put them on next time.
