I replaced this with my almost 10 year old whirlpool one about 2 months back, wow much difference, most of the time when it runs i had to open my utility room to make sure its actually running. No noise at all, and i already saw my electric bill going down. Fully satisfied to buy this. Lot features still not used all of them.

This dryer has completely dried every load so far. The rack is a nice option for things that I don't want tumbled but I find it a bit tricky to place in the correct spot.

I have both the washer and dryer to this set. I really like all of the features that they offer. However on a down side I was told that the washer had a balancing drum so to avoid spinning noise and movement of the washer. That was false! If I put the spin cycle on more then medium the washer sounds like a train is coming through the house and the washer moves:(

We just purchased this dryer from Sears about a month ago, and I have been playing "catch-up" with all of the laundry that had piled up since our old washer and dryer finally broke. I have washed and dried piles of towels, blankets, jeans, t-shirts, as well as undergarments, and everything has come out wonderfully. This dryer is quiet, and did not vibrate or shake at all, not even when I dried our very bulky bathmat by itself. We had a front-loading washer and dryer set for nearly 12 years, and I thought that those machines did a good job for what we paid for them back in 2000. Our new washer and dryer only cost about $200 more per machine almost 12 years later, and they are SO MUCH better than our old ones. The advances in design, technology, and performance are just astounding, and LG has done a great job of incorporating these changes into their new line of washers and dryers. I really like the large variety of settings that this dryer has, and I love how large the drum is, I only wish it was ALL stainless steel, instead of the back of the drum being porcelain. The 9.0 cubit ft. dryer drum is completely stainless, and I think the 7.3 cubit ft. dryer drum should be the same.
We had looked into buying the 5.1 cubic ft. washer, along with the 9.0 cubit ft. dryer, but they were just too big for both our family's needs and for our garage. We have five people in our family, and I think the bigger machines would be better suited for a family larger than ours. That being said, I am VERY happy with the 4.0 cubit ft. washer and the 7.3 cubit ft. dryer so far, and hope they last as long, or longer, than our old set did.
At this time, I highly recommend this dryer for the price and its features, and hopefully, my recommendation will not need to change after I have used it for a longer period of time.

After researching dryers, I decided on this highly rated model. I have no had the machine and could not be happier. Energy efficient, (replaced 12 year old machine) quiet, great drying options, overall a good value.

This is by far the best dryer I have ever had or used. I am constantly amazed at the amount of time it takes to dry some of the loads that we dry. My old dryer would take 2 (and sometimes more) complete 60 minute cycles to dry what this dryer does in 1 cycle of 40 minutes. The steam function is nice to have, although I haven't used it yet. And all the extra modes work great.
