Bought this with high recommendations from a friend. Also got it on sale plus an additional $50 of with trade in of old printer. Could not pass on the deal. Only had this unit 2 months. Read all reviews and most were very positive. However the two issues that some people had are happening to me. Smeared ink on the top or bottom of the page and it grabs more than one sheet at a time. I have only run about 200 pages through so far. Hoping when time to change ink the smearing goes away and maybe using a better paper will help the paper feed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Paper jams

I have had my WP4530 for just one month and have had paper jams way too often. I do everything the information panel says to do and it still tells me there's a jam.
Print-wise it seems to be a good machine, but the paper jamming issue is a real pain.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seems to be a problem with plastic rollers breaking and causing paper jams.....others in our office have had same issue with similar Espon models

have encountered one problem after another with incompatibility issues dealing with windows 8, office etc...had no problems printing with an I pad...I phone...dissatisfied with lack of diagnostic assessment algorothim.Would be glad to return to Epson so that they can donate it to some not for profit institution

Absolutely the worst paper-handling capablility of any printer I have ever used. Margins are off, partially printed pages, blank pages. Same problem with multiple paper types - all of high quality that are used in professional environment. So bad, in fact, to make this (new) printer unusable.

The printing is not excellent or poor, just adequate. The scanner is erratic. To scan you have to try 3 different ways and it works differently each time. It scans VERY slowly.

Setup was straight forward with no issues. Print quality is excellent. Scanning a picture or document is simple and the results are great. I've installed and used a number of all-in-one devices from a range of manufacturers. This is the best so far.
