The company I work for has allowed me to work from home and I wore out a Epson Workhorse 500 after many years. This printer for commercial work is far superior to any home use printer. The giant ink tanks not only save money but many hours of changing time not to mention the ease of front loading them. Laser quality black prints and better than average color prints on plain paper and superior prints on photo or presentation paper. Great job Epson

I have had my 4530 for a year and use it in my home office. Set up is fast and easy. I have used all functions-copy, scan and fax and all work fine. I use the two sided copying and it is fairly fast. I can scan documents to email along with photos to save on my computer with no problems.
It does not make good photo copies-not sharp or true colors but it is not advertised for photo copies. I bought an Epson XP820 that makes excellent photo copies .
All things considered it is a good printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Absolutely Love this Printer

A gal recommended Epson to me when I was looking to buy a printer. I went with her suggestion and have been a fan since. I love it. I never have any problems and even bought another printer while travelling in CA. I ended up leaving it with my sister so she can use it for homeschool. GO with Epson... it works!

WP-4530: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

The Good: easy set up and consistent hard worker. And Epson seriously backs up their products (see below).
The Bad: The ink delivery system has broken twice, but Epson replaced printer both times.
The Ugly: The broken ink delivery systems resulted in yellow ink being spewed all other floor and clothes.
Epson was amazing replacing the printers and making up for ink damage.

I have been looking for a printer to print envelopes of various size after my Canon IP4300 died. Not wanting to spend a small fortune for a printer I came upon the Epson WP-4530. It prints all envelopes size we use and I don't have to feed it one at a time, quality is great. Fax is a bonus with DRD ( distinctive Ring). The only disappointment is the Maintenance Box which must be replaced and can't be purchased locally so shipping is an added cost. As a charity our volume is small so this printer meets our needs perfectly.
