Easy to setup

Just got the unit today, it took me a whole 15 mins to unpack, read the quick start guide and setup. I dropped the driver cd in the computer while the unit was initializing and in 20 mins I was printing and scanning. I tried 2 sided printing with business card stock, flawless! I also printed some pdf's and word docs. They were printed twice as fast as my last printer. Over all, this unit is a great value for me. BTW: the wireless networking setup was a breeze, thanks Epson for making this change of printers painless.

Hoping for the best... Good so far.

Just finnished intsalling this on my home wireless nextwork. 2 PC's and a laptop all installed without a hitch. I downloaded the software from Epson's website and did not use the disc that came with the printer. I am actually amazed how quickly I went from printer in box to printing, less than an hour. I have only printed a few test pages and I am impressed if this is how it will print all the time, very fast and crisp clean detailed prints w/out any smears.
The only function I have used is the printer. Haven't tried the 2 sided function yet either. The display is adequate but I did get stuck in a spot and had to wait for it it time out to get back to the main menu, about 5 minutes or you can turn off power and restart. Powers up quickly compared to any other printer I have ever owned.
Other thoughts:
I wish this printer had an option to hook up waste ink to an external source so there wouldn't be a need to have a print counter. Which I understand is set at 22,000 prints, then you have to have the unit serviced to replace the ink pad or throw it away and buy a new printer which is the recommened option from Epson's own web site. This is the way all printers for home use are from all manufactures... But this printer has the largest ink cartridges I have ever seen and 22k prints will last me quite a while.
So far I am very impressed with the printer. I haven't had it long enough or used many of the functions to make a recomendation. Good luck.

Great Time & Money Saver for Small Business

After researching printers for months on end to find a cost effective printer with our small business, we found and Bought the Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4530.
The Workforce Pro was a perfect fit for our needs with the large capacity Ink cartridges, quick drying inks and fast printing cycles.
We are still using the original ink cartridges that came with the printer!!!
Out of the box setup was quick and easy and produced one of the cleanest and sharpest test images I have ever see from a ink jet printer on the first try!!!
From my experience so far with the printer, it's going to be a perfect fit!!
Epson..You have a winner here!!!

After I purchased the Epson, the paper try would not feed and I could not make copies from the glasss. The yellow cartridge keeps tearing. I'm bringing it in to get a new printer.

Epson 4530 wifi printer

I would def recommend this printer for home use. Very easy to set up with instructions from DVD. We set ours up using the wifi settings so our desktop and laptop both are set up to use the same printer. This printer does NOT come with a USB cable. So if you are not going to use wifi you need to purchase a USB cable before you leave the store. OH, and it does print really fast. Quality is great. Would recommend this products. Have always used HP so trying this EPSON was a first for me.

Awesome ink Cartridges

While the ink Cartridges will print 1000 pages of black and 900 pages of color, I never used them up before the printers ink ribbon broke leaking yellow ink everywhere.
So if you get one of these printers get the longest extended warranty you can. I'm not the only one that has had this problem.

Good, but wireless is a problem

The Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4530 All-in-One Printer is a snap to set up. The directions are clear and specific and result in a quick and easy setup. All aspects of the printer are great as it is attached (USB) to a desktop. Trying to print from a laptop which is connected wirelessly is more problematic - when not used for a while, the printer seems to go into "wireless hibernation," returns an error state message and will not print. It needs physical intervention, usually a turn it off and turn it back on 'trip.' Sometimes must also put laptop to 'sleep' and bring it back up. If the first 'trip' the printer does not work, adding the laptop recycle usually does work. BUT, WHAT A PAIN! Is there some way to 'reactivate' the printer from the laptop?
