Epson Comes Through

One day my old printer went crazy. After several days of frustration and phone calls, it was revealed that I needed a head cartridge! The old printer had been designed to use (4) ink cartridges as well as (2) head cartridges. The head cartridges were very expensive to replace and not under warranty. Epson came through because my new printer does not utilize print heads to operate!

I have only had this printer for a couple of weeks, but I love it! After fighting for 3 years with another brand of printer that was a big disappointment, I was ready to get back to an Epson printer. It boots up quickly when turned on and stays connected to our network. Print speed and quality is great. It will take me a while to learn the new menus and figure out the paper bypass feeder on the back.
This printer is quite large, so make sure you have the room for it.
Replacement ink through the online Epson store is cheaper than any of the stores around here including the warehouse club.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Heavy Duty Printer

Worked 1st time out of box. Software, including wireless setup, worked 1st time with no hassle. Took about 10 minutes to setup. Speed of printing is very good. Printer makes a few funny noises, but most do. Have not yet had a paper jam. If the 2400 pages from the XL ink cart holds true will be happy as it puts my cost per page at under 2 cents a page including paper. Printer is larger and heavier than prior printers. I print about 70 pages a day, 5 days a week. Will update when I determine if the print yield from the ink holds true to advertised specs.

Best little printer we've ever had!

Easy to install! It's not hoggish on ink usage either. It's a great all around printer and scanner. We highly recommend it for reliability and ease and cost. We haven't used the fax, so we cannot say how that works. The scanner is great!

Epson WP-4530 Home Office Printer

I had boiled it down to two printers for my purposes: The Epson WP-4530 and the leading competitor equivalent. Spec-wise they were quite similar. The competitor was a little faster, but I thought the Epson was more professional looking. Also, I guided on so many other reviews that talked about how miserly it was in its ink use.
I was very impressed with all its functions, and especially the MP paper tray in back. I use it for envelopes. Printed an envelope first time flawlessly from Word without messing with orientations or sizing, etc.
Overall I am very pleased with this printer.
Wi Fi connected up easily just doing it manually from front panel.
Set-up was fairly easy, but with Windows 8.1 there were compatibility issues with the software. Better to download the software from Epson first.
I've only had the product for a few days, but so far, everything is working well.

Epson WP-4530

I took my new printer out of the box, connected the power cord, pulled off the tape, inserted the cartridges and just followed the prompts on the screen. Pretty easy, even for an old guy like me. I really like the WiFi functionality. It printed dozens of pages of tax return documentation quickly and beautifully. I'm looking forward to using it for years to come.

WE BOUGHT THIS SAME MACHINE FOR OUR CHURCH SCHOOL AND IT HAS PERFORMED BEAUTIFULLY. THE ECONOMICS OF THE INK IS GREAT. MY ONLY DESIRE IS THAT IT WOULD TAKE THE 677 XXL INK CARTRIDGES. I AM SURE EPSON COULD MAKE THIS HAPPEN WITH A FIRMWARE UPDATE. I DO RECOMMEND THIS PRINTER AS IT IS A GREAT UNIT.

These are very functional printers, though very cheaply made so you have to be careful. Print quality is great, functionality of printing and scanning is easy to use. Just be careful when handling because they are ALL plastic.
