WP-4530 Is Worth The Money and A Great Machine

I cannot say enough good things about this product. For the price, it functions extremely well and performs copying, printing, scanning, and faxing to the very highest standards and, in my opinion, to a level of standards that exceed reasonable expectations for the price paid. I highly recommend this product.

Have made several attempts to follow instructions and set up. The printer cannot read the supped ink cartridges nor the new Epson ink cartridges.

Service

The service was great. I got my first wp-4530 and the ink cartridges were not recognized. They quickly sent me a new set that did work.
But then the printer spat a blank sheet upon powering up, starting a print job, upon finishing a print job, and when powering down. There was always a sheet in the turn around drum at the back.
They quickly sent me a second machine. Again, two of the cartridges were not recognized, but the machine did recognize the cartridges from the first one, so it is now printing.
The printing looks good. I like having a large capacity cartridge as it lasts between changes.
I have not tried to set up the wireless yet. We will see what happens then.
I buy Epson (4th printer) because of the scanning software. No other printer suite is as sweet. It can be configured for just about any task I have tried. That makes it worth the trouble.

After calling for help with installing software printer was everything it was advertise to do. Also this was a remanufactured printer that by all accounts looked and functioned as NEW. I would buy again if needed. This replaced a still working Work Force 600 as I needed auto 2 sided printing and larger paper handling.

Worked, in the beginning.

The printer worded great in the beginning, after about 2 years, the part that controls the cyan ink went haywire. After I put the new cartridges in the printer, the cyan was all over the wheels that push the paper through the printer & I'm getting a 1inch wide, soaking through the paper, blue streak. This is the second time this happened, another waste of $$$ down the tubes. For the money I've wasted on in, I'm not going to try again, I'm going to buy another printer(not Epson). I've had printers in my house for over 15 years & I've never had this problem.

Nice Printer

We have had the WorkForce Pro for about 4 months now and have no complaints about it. It has a paper tray that holds almost half a ream of paper. It also has a viewing slot so you always know how much paper is left, without having to pull the tray out first. The printing quality is excellent, the ADF feeds numerous pages effortlessly and the scanner puts out very clean scans.
Printing envelopes is very easy. There again you don't have to pull out a paper tray in order to print envelopes, there is a dedicated slot for that function.
The WiFi was a little trickier for me to set up. It required a little more work. Also the printer software only allowed for one network to be set up without any alternate. I'm no pro so I may have missed something. That said, the printer WiFi works very well for us so we don't have to be tied down to our desks if we are working with a laptop. It is also great if the printer needs to be located across the room from your workstation. We have not tried to utilize it from another room yet, but it probably would work as far as our network reaches.
We have not utilized the fax function as we do not use facsimile, only scans.
