My only complaint and it probably a big one, is that we go through an enormous amount of ink. Not sure why but we've purchased three sets already. I was also hoping that when all ink was empty that I could switch to gray scale and just replace the black. But I guess not. One has to replace ALL colors.

Potential, but Falls Short

This is my second WP-4530 in approx. 3 1/2 years. After 2 1/2 years, the first one started leaking ink. Now, the second machine has also started leaking ink on printed pages.
Without this chronic problem, it would be an excellent printer. It is fast, has good print quality & has a nice rear load paper capacity (the main reason I went back a second time to the same printer). This is obviously a defect in parts or design. Epson used to be synonymous with quality printers. FIX THIS ISSUE!!

GREAT VALUE - Epson Backs their products!

The WorkForce Pro was purchased new. I did have a stumbling block a year later - the printer was spewing yellow ink on printed pages. A dialogue was initiated with an online tech and the problem was immediately rectified - another printer was expeditiously sent - the product sent as replacement was a refurbished one. I must say (knock on wood) there hasn't been a problem since.
The colors produced are of good quality. The printing speed is quite good.
Epson does stand behind their products 100%
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stuck Printer Mode

The printing quality, reliability to manipulate pages (front and back), scanning, etc. are GREAT.
What is very frustrating that quite OFTEN we have to turn the printer off since it is STUCK in a particular mode and only beeps when trying to reset it. Once in this state the display remains unchaged on ANY option that one selects. I could not find any info on the internet to cope with this.
Sometimes one can escape the STUCK mode by printing out the printer properties (on the manual selection). That should not happen!

We've had this all-in-one up & running for about a month now & just love it.
We are connected to the unit via the Ethernet & USB to 2 different PC's. The setup was very easy without any difficulties & the included scanning software worked well. We will upgrade to the pro version of the OCR software next week.
The unit prints & scan quietly & is very fast. The included ABBYY OCR software is just the slightest bit slow but was accurate. The included OCR software worked well using a document feeder to scan multiple pages & converted to PDF without an error.

Instructions to set up to print wirelessly are not very clear - they assume a greater knowledge of computers than many would have and are not written in step-by-step mode with clear pictures. I am forced to pay someone to complete the setup for me and that should not be necessary. How setup for AirPrint - no mention!!!!

Product works very well, excepting that not everyone uses a phone line to fax.(internet) Maybe it should be set up to e fax. Colors are good, print speeds are fine. Scanning software is easy to use.

This WP-4530 All-in-One Printer seems to have all the superior qualities claimed in the "full description" given in the Ratings & Reviews Input Form. A great printer for black & white. What was extremely disappointing was the inaccurate and gloomy tone of the red ink. Not recommended for good-quality reproduction of color photos.
