Disappointed, to a degree...

As a printer and scanner, this unit is beyond perfect.
What disappoints me hugely - and this is so crucial for me - is that there is extremely limited and hampered functionality with air print from my ipad and Mac. I purchased this printer for the air print capability -- and it is the one feature that absolutely does not work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used this printer heavily printing and scanning documents for the past six and a half years with not the first problem, other than having to purchase more ink cartridges!! What a surprise!
I've not had such good luck with a variety of printers from other manufacturers. Way to go Epson!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Printing from iPad

I have used this printer for a couple of years now. Works quite well with all functions. I use it for b/w and color including photos, scanning and faxing. Love the double sided printing and scanning.
I noticed another reviewer with an iPad printing problem. I print wireless from my Windows 10 laptop as well as from my iPad. Perhaps update to the latest firmware and printer driver.

Worst printer ever!!!

This is the worst printer in the history of printers!!!! It "jams" with every print, except it's not really jammed. There is no way to clear it except to wait until it decides to print again. So frustrating!!!

Cheaply Constructed

We have 5 in our Office.
Flimsy plastic, cheap plastic gears, software is intrusive and annoying, copy/scan paper feed will jam consistently. Probably already no longer supported.... more of the same junk from Epson. Set a new standard and make something worth buying.

This is the most wonderful machine EVER!
It is Fast.
It is Quiet.
It prints on both sides all by itself!
It is easy to operate.
It has a paper drawer that holds a lot of paper!
It has an extra paper slot in the back.
It makes copies - black & white or color w/1button
It has LARGE PRINT CARTRIDGES - all colors separate!!!
If faxes.
It prints photos beautifully.
It has a paper feed.
It looks professional, heavy duty and well made.
It is Fast.

Troubles printing Color

I have owned my printer almost 1 year. Immediately after purchasing the top feed automatic feeder quit working. A few months later the printer starts leaking yellow ink all over my desk. And now it will no longer print yellow or Blue. I have spent a lot of time and money on ink trying to get it to print properly. When you choose the clean heads option it must suck a lot of ink. I have only purchased Epson Ink and have always purchased the XL cartridges. It has been a very frustrating year with this printer.
