Epsom Work Force Pro WP 4530 all in one printer

this is an excellent machine for everyday text printing. the graphics do not look very good, the colors blend together somewhat. however the scanner and the copier are great. it holds lots of paper and is easy to use and to replenish ink and paper. the ink cartridges are big and last a long time. I thought this printer would be good over all printer for my business and it is great except for the color printing issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!

menus on the device are clumsy and have multiple entry points - there is no plain operating window - the menu is always active.

not ready for primetime on linux

It's a beautiful piece of equipment and I want to love it. It is very well built and it prints nicely in linux with all the options working as far as I can tell, but the document feeder for the scanner is simply broken and support via avasys has not only been unsuccessful, but it has been disabled such that no further bug reports are possible. The degradation of the support infrastructure leaves serious questions as to the continued functionality in a linux environment. Linux users should be warned about the missing features and discontinued support via avasys.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy Install

I was a little concerned about hooking this up to our wireless network since I had someone else set up the network, but I just followed the instructions and installed the latest update and we were printing!
Although it's not the best print or pictures I've ever seen from an inkjet, it's more than satisfactory for our personal everyday use.
I highly recommend!

Great printer, however

This is a great small business printer. Fast printing, scanning, etc. Was very disappointed to find that it does not offer the ability to do borderless printing. Seemed odd as every printer that I have had has had that ability for the last 5+ years.
Also, no specific scanning application for the Mac.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WP-4530 just purchased

All set up ready to go, but it is noisey. Also have problems with faxing one time it will fax then next time no answer. seems like faxing is a problem. Hard to find problem solution have done all the checks?

Epson WorkForce Pro WP 4530

I have just replaced a color laser printer with the Epson WP 4530. Wireless set up was straight forward and took about 45 minutes (12 of which were waiting for the ink cartridges to prime themselves (you have to know the SSID of your network router, essentially the name of the network). I have faxed, copied, scanned and printed with it without a hitch. The print quality is excellent. I printed a photo from iPhoto and the colors were true and sharpness very good. I use this for a small business and home use and would recommend it highly. It is a little noisy but not a real big deal.

Good printer-does not come with full ink

We will see the quality once you buy ink. Don't forget to buy ink if you want to use it. It only comes with half black ink and all the colors are empty.
