Ditto on Yellow Ink Problem

After 2 yrs my 4530 started spewing yellow ink on my photos and inside the printer. I replaced the yellow cartridge and it still happened. After reading reviews it seems this is a bad design in several Epson printers and it always occurs with the yellow ink.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have it for 2 years now. Worked well. I liked all the features and Epson software is OK. All was great until a few days ago....
It started spilling yellow ink. I bought another cartridge and still continued spilling ink all over.
Just checked and it is a very common problem with a plastic film membrane covering reservoir under pressure.
Took it apart and was not able to fix it. Looks like it will become a pile of e-waste. What a shame!!!
I hope Epson fixed this problem.

Poor quality

The product is less than a year old and it is already not working. It began by snatch more than 1 sheet of paper through the printer and now it doesn't print at all. I replaced the ink cartridge thinking this was issued, however it still doesn't work.

Heavy Ink Usage!

This printer uses Cyan and Magenta ink faster than any printer that I’ve ever owned. The cartridges are huge and more expensive than other printers that I’ve owned and seem to have the same amount of ink as the smaller cartridges. How does Epson justify the cartridge size difference? I bought this printer because my business partner had one and gave it good reviews. However, he replaced his with a different model after I bought mine. I would not buy this one again.

Hoping for better

At the moment, I'm not able to recommend this printer. The setup wasn't difficult until we got to the fax part. We spent an hour on the phone with Epson adjusting the machine to accept our distinctive double ring fax number. There are also items you have to pick on the setup on the printer rather than the setup on your computer. Got that taken care of but now I am unable to choose to print double sided. Directions in the guide aren't what I see in my print queue.

This thing sometimes grabs a stack of paper to print one page..... brand new printer...just hooked it up...is there a secrete to loading the paper??

I've connected everthing up and can't receive any faxes. Only to finally read that the phone cable service won't work with this printer :(

BEST SMALL BUSINESS OFFICE PRINTER I'VE OWNED

For years, I have been looking for a moderately priced, quality all-in-one inkjet for our office. Finally I believe I have found it! I have owned the EPSON WP-4530 now for almost two months and keep telling my business partner, "It's the best printer I ever have had!" I have owned possibly ten different Epson dot-matrix and inkjet printers (as well as a few other brand laser and inkjet printers) over the past 25 years, but the WP-4530 tops them all in functionality, ease of use, and cost of consumables. It's the first printer I have owned that does double-sided printing! What a great feature! At this point in time, I would want to say, "Epson, I think you have created a winner!"
I would recommend this to a friend!
