Out of the box: the black cartridge did not work and the bottom feeding tray spits out five or six pages at a time.

WP-4530 All-in-One Printer

Easy Setup on LAN using software CD using some simple network/router knowledge from my work. Fast & quiet output with nice color. Faxing from PC is quite easy too, except it did not work with factory software setting for network fax. However, PC network fax works now after I added a new IP port with its DHCP static IP setting (assigned by the router) to the printer driver property.
Another thing I like is that its larger than normal size of ink cartridges are sufficient for small business/home users like me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4530 All-in-One Printer

I received this printer as a gift for Christmas and as soon as I took it out of the box, I knew it was the printer that would make my business a sucessful part of Business Service Industry. The instructions were easy to folllow and setup was not hard. The printer though a little noisy seems to print and scan perfectly. I have yet touse the Fax but I am hoping that the Fax capabilities are as easy to use. Overall I am enjoying the Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4530 All-in-One Printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Conflict

Worked fine for a while after installation but as soon as I started to print from Quickbooks on my Mac running Leopard 10.5.8 it did something to my Mac that slowed it to a snails pace! I had to reboot it to bring it back to speed but even that was tedious because it was so slow. I had to unplug the USB cable for even that to work. Plus it always seems to have a recent invoice in memory so as soon as I plug the cable in again, it starts to print and goes cold molasses once again.
Will call Epson today to see what they suggest.

Extremely painful to set up

Wish I could get all the wonderful outputs others are touting in their reviews. So far, this THE most difficult piece of computer hardware I've ever tried to set up. Error messages are indecipherable, and all attempts -- wireless and USB connected -- to actually get it to talk to a computer have utterly failed. Instructions are worthless. Unless you know a lot about computers and have three days to spend getting it set up, choose something else!

does not work as advertised

The deciding factor for purchasing this particular printer was the two sided printing. However tonight when I tried to print 2 sided it jammed the three times I tried. I do like the wireless printing however do not like that I can not save paper by printing two sided.

A note to the wise

I just set-up my epson WP-4530. the reason I went with this model was the larger ink cartrages the 676XL. When I bought the printer the sales person told me that it came with full cartrages IT DOSE NOT!!! when I went to setup the printer I insatalled 676XL cartrages DON'T do this. You must run the printer setup with the starter cartrages that come in the box, or you will receive an error message and will not be able to load the software! Once I instaled the starter cartrages the rest of the setup was very easy.
