Worth the set up time...9 out of 10 ranking

While it took me part of 2 days and 4 calls to the help desk...I was able to get all the WP4530 promised functions to work. Software install was a bit goofy.
The excellent Epson Connect and iPrint were the last two hurdles to clear...but after finishing it...I have to say the performance of the WP4530 is worth the time/effort.
The size of the printer is a bit intimidating...but the print quality and price per page for ink usage are terrific benefits!

Not Up to Speed

I have only used my WP-4530 for a few days, but I was immediately disappointed upon trying to set it up by the warning that this machine is not supported by my operating system.. I have OS X.8.2. I was, however, able to download a special installation package for this system. But now I have discovered that the scanning feature of my new printer is "not supported" by my operating system. Apparently, it doesn't pay to have the latest OS.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easiest setup ever!

Everything needed was in the box. Instructions were easy to follow and complete. Wireless set up took less than 5 minutes (as a non tech person, I was amazed)...set up on a windows 8, windows 7 and and XP computer in less than 15 minutes total.
Great print, colors vivid, rapid output. Glad we dumped the other printers for this one for the entire family.

My Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4530 All-in-one Printer

This all-in-one printer is great. The size of the ink cartridges make it so the ink last longer. I use this for my cards business. The color comes out great. The only thing I am disappointed about is that I cannot print out my designed envelopes to match the cards.

Setup of WP-4530

The directions for setting up this printer is obviously written by someone familiar with these products. This was my first Epson WP and I found it difficult to understand where everything is and how to connect. The software/drivers routine was even worse.
I have yet to find information on the MP tray and am waiting with great expectation to try to copy or scan an 11x14 legal document.
To improve the documentation, have someone unfamiliar with the product start from scratch and try to follow your instructions.

We needed the features of the Epson WP-4530. The hardest part of set up was getting it out of the box!
It took a couple of minutes to set up all of the features. We use Mac's, so set up is VERY easy.
We use Epson printers for all of our printing needs.
They are rock solid printers/scanners. This is a GREAT unit!

The set-up instructions need to be clearer. Not that simple to follow, especially the Wi-Fi set-up, still trying to figure that out. The printer makes very clear copies, it holds a lot of paper.
