MY NEW WP-4530 PRINTER

THIS IS WITH OUT A DOUBT ONE OF THE FASTEST PRINTERS ON THE MARKET, AT LEAST FOR ME IT IS. THIS IS A NEW PRINTER FOR ME AND I HAVEN'T REALLY USED IT YET.BUT FOR WHAT I HAVE DONE IT IS REALLY FAST WITH EXCELLENT COLOR QUALITY.IT TOOK A LITTLE WHILE TO LOAD ALL THE SOFTWARE, BUT AFTER THAT EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. IWOULD LIKE TO SEE THE PRICE OF THE INK TO BE LOWER. I ALSO PREFER TO HAVE JUST 2 INK CARTRIDGES INSTEAD OF 4.BUT THERE WAS NO PROBLEM IN LOADING THEM AND THEY ARE EASY TO GET TO. I AM SURE THAT AFTER BEGIN TO USE THE PRINTER I WILL BE ABLE TO RENDER A BETTER REVIEW, BUT FOR NOW THIS THE BEST PRINT I HAVE EVER OWNED. I THINK IT WILL BE THE LAST ONE I OWN.

Doesn't print dark enough

Just set up the printer. Test page came good until the last couple of lines. I printed sheet in black and set it on quality. It only comes out as dark gray. I have put in a new ink cartridge but I would think that I should not have to. I will keep using it for a while to see if it improves. If it does not improve I will contact the store I purchased it. I hate to put in a new ink cartridge so early!

So far the use of this printer has resolved my needing both a laser and an inkjet and now I need only one copier/printer!
Negative - Finding a method to print off the computer without color!!! Other printers had this as an option and then I saved on color. Be prepared to copy in either black/white or color, but only color off the printer. Disapointing.

I can only use it with my desktop because it is hard wired. The rest of the Wi-Fi house can not use it. The printer will not do both.
The manual buttons are kind of fiddly. Cancelling a Fax is difficult, as well as you can not use the phone feed line through the computer. It needs to be separate.
It may sound like I am not pleased with the printer, but it is just the opposite. Even with its draw backs I am pleased with my purchase. I would recommend it, unless it would not suit the needs from its drawbacks.
The price is right.

Great printer

I have had this printer only half a day. I set it up on four printers on my network with no glitches at all. I am familiar with setting the Wi-Fi so I set it up on the printer first without using a cable.
It is very fast, which is what I was looking for, as I print a lot of advertising flyers.
Have not tried all of the features yet, but setup was easy.
The only caveat it that the plastic parts are thin and flimsy.
I guess that's progress.

Can't really give a usable review at this time. Just did finish install....so.....it wasn't too bad of install...not as hard as I anticipated to do..Basic computer skills ...take your time..read the Instructions...don't get in a hurry....Good Luck!...Hope it works as well as it's reviews....

WP-4530 Installation

The installation and test printing went flawlessly. Even when the printer detected Windows 8.1. it brought me to the correct driver installation page instantly. The installation of the driver was a snap. Test page printing was very quick and quiet.

This is my first Epson printer and I have to say I am already loving it. It seems like we throw out a printer every year. I am a full time student with a wife and five kids. Between my school, theirs, and the wife printing coupons this machine is great. Great craftsmanship and a solid machine. I know it is considered a office machine but I bet it wont be time to throw it in the trash in a year like all the others. I also like its quiet operation and how there isn't a earthquake at my desk every time someone prints something.
I would recommend this to a friend!
