Very nice so far.
Just purchased this a few hours ago and have a laptop and desktop wireless setup complete with another desktop and several iPads & iPhones to go. So far it has been without issues and Test Pages printed. Looking forward to finishing the install before the night ends.

Complicated

Set up was complicated.
This is the 2nd Epson printer. First was the 520.
The screen panel malfunctioned and stopped working. Was not able to change ink cartridge so traded it in for the 4530 series. So far, I'm not liking the time it took to set up. I hope this one last longer than the 520.

Poor Printer

This printer is would make an ok boat anchor, but as a printer its a failure.
Lots of functions which none are of any use since it won't even feed stock. Worst Epson I've ever had since my MX-100.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too complicated for me to understand!

I was told I needed to buy this machine even though my old one worked fine. This machine does print quicker than the old one but is very noisy! I like the fact I can copy, but not having a ground line makes the ability to fax useless. I was really looking forward to printing envelopes, but there is not ONE word about how to do this in the manual. I opened the WorkForce Pro icon which opened a long list of options which when clicked showed what I should be seeing, but nothing happened when I clicked on them. For example, I wanted to change the date for Automatic Updating, I could not do so. I still see nothing about envelopes even though I clicked on all the options! No need for thing to be so complicated! Even my computer-savvy friend could not get the envelopes to print!

I was talked into buying this printer because of the quality of printing & the Claim that you will get 5000 copies out of the first ink cartridges. After only making 8 color copies I was informed the ink cartridges were extremely low. After only 20 copies I was told I need to replace 1 cartridge!! REALLY THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.!!

First Impression

My initial experience is quite favorable. The printer set up properly with no surprises. Haven't been able to print from my Ipad yet, but I am sure I will get there.
Regular printing looks great, and I was very impressed with envelope printing.
My last printer, an HP All In One lasted 7 years and was very satisfactory. My great hope is that this printer will last as long, and as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Would not recommend this printer

The rear paper tray jams. There is no way to tell the printer which tray to use or redirect a job to a different tray. When I removed the rear tray, two plastic gears just fell off. Plus the printer arrived without ANY documentation, not even a quick, step-by-step guide.

Set-up was easy. Works as promised. We have four computers networked to it. It is easy to set up and easy to use. Scans & copies great too.
