Six months and counting

I bought my Epson WD-4540 approximately six months ago. I have had great use of this all in one printer. I am happy to of not had any problems with the yellow ink cartridge exploding. The fax works very well along with the scanning to pc etc...
The only problems that I have had is printing envelopes. Placing an envelope in the back doesn't seem to work well, I can only get the recipients address to print. If I place the envelope where the instructions illustrate I still only get the recipients address and no return address.
I do like the extra storage for paper.

Does everything as advertised, set-up very easy and all features easily accessible. Print quality very good and menus offer good selection of functions. Very pleased with product!!

What a great printer! I liked it so much, I bought one for my office and one for home!
Color is excellent, scanner works well.
Epson has great customer service, in the unlikely event that you need their support.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Right out of the box:set up info over & over
Touchscreen won't send commands. keeps asking for same info over & over. Loud noise. Ck for tape & etc, found none. won't recognize ink carts. really upset with this printer.

had for couple of years know. no issues does what they say. I've had a lot of different printers, this is the best I've ever owned by far.

Yellow ink smears after light use

This printer began to fail after 2 months of light use (still on the initial ink cartridges). Followed tech support instructions, ink failed after another 3 months of use. Unfortunately, this printer was given to me so I don't have the exact date of purchase; however I was the first person to use the printer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this all in one

I love the Epson WorkForce Pro WP-4540 All-in-One Printer for many reasons speed, having a small office it is perfect because it replaces my fax, scanner, copier and printer. give me more room in my office.
