good printer

First this was my fist wireless printer but with that said setup went very smoothly.
I installed it with usb cable then tested it out and was delighted.
The printer showed up on my home wireless network. While IMHO you do have to be aware of how to use your network I can't immagine it being any easier.
I then added the software to a laptop connected to the network and did a wireless setup which went without a glitch.
Just for fun I downloaded the epson android app which had a few glitches. But after the app found the printer and I figured out the phone and app, I was able to print pictures from the phone to the printer.
Have yet to test the scanning, fax, copy and so on but all in all it have been very easy to setup and seems to be working fine. I especially like replaceing the individual catridges as opposed to the 3 in one color carts.
oh yea my samsung s3 pictures in HD look really good and clear in an 8x10 also.
Gotta try the banner printing to print out 3'x3" model airplane parts also.

Only had the WP 4540 a few days but already i can say it was the easiest and most successful printer setup i've ever experienced (probably have done 15, at least, in the past). This printer is FAST, GREAT and affordable. So far, I could not be more impressed. Everything worked as promised, and on the first attempt - and on all of our digital devices (really easy printing photos directly from phone with Airprint).

A lot of features!

Eliminated old scanner, fax & photocopy machines with this all-in-one. Reasonable print quality. Requires intermediate knowledge to set up on network. I have wireless & wired network. It works with my XP & WIN 7 machines. One drawback, no incoming fax when machine is off. Old fax had sleep mode and could accept faxes 24/7. Very large footprint! Purchased at discount with instant rebate. Good value for the money. Did not have to search & decide on correct drivers; all automatic!

Easy install the first try. Great product quality, all features work correctly. E-mail from anywhere printing awesome. PC fax software would be better if you could add manual scanned pages to PC generated fax.

this printer has the greatst scanning and copying capabilities. it scans, copies and faxes waht more could anyone ever want from a machine.
