Yellow ink leak

This printer was the best one I'd ever purchased for a year and a half. My biggest complaint up until that point was that the printer asks to have the ink cartridges replaced way too soon and it was annoying. That was until the printer was warning that the yellow ink cartridge was empty only to have yellow ink all over inside of it. If the cartridge was that low how did that happen? I replaced the yellow and the cyan then cleaned out the printer twice only to have more yellow ink then before I serviced it leaking all over my prints. I've used Epson printers at home and large format for professional work but next time I need a printer I'm looking elsewhere. Epson's lost another customer.

Feeling Mislead

"the Boss" purchased this printer on line, he already owns a smaller one at home, this printer has worked in about 50% of the applications wonderfully. The description on your website states card stock however it does not print card stock, in fact support says it will damage the printer as it is not designed to print on card stock. I reread the description it says card stock. We would not have purchased this printer had we been aware of this problem.

Repair or Replace

If this printer didn't have problems it would be a great value. After replacing the yellow ink cartridge all printed copies came out with a 2-4 inch wide solid yellow stripe from top to bottom. I tried a second cartridge same problem. The heads were cleaned-same problem. Since printer repairs are so expensive, I can't decide if I should replace, or repair, this printer.

Yellow Ink problem

Have had the printer about a year. Yellow ink stopped working. Replaced cartridge and yellow ink is now dripping. Very worried to read that this is a common and apparently unfixable problem.

Yellow Ink Leaking

I have had this printer for a little over a year and the yellow ink just started leaking. Thinking it was the cartridge, I unfortunately bought the expensive cartridge before reading these reviews. I have children in high school and they have had projects we are unable to print. I am hoping this is fixable but it is not looking good....very unhappy. I replaced an older printer in perfect working order for this one and now regret it.

Printer Leaks Yellow Ink

Like others have experienced, my WP-45-40 printer has started leaking yellow ink all over every document. My understanding is this is a known problem. Unfortunately, the printer is now useless. I would avoid buying this printer.

Yellow Ink Problems

Like many people, mine developed the "leaking yellow ink" problem. I had mine replaced. Now, a few months later, the replaced one is refusing to recognize my yellow Epson Ink Cartridge. Stay away from this printer!

Terrible printer

Leaks yellow ink all over the place. Okay printer until then. I was in a middle of a project when the yellow ink started coming out. I have read other people's review and they have had the same problem. Not happy.
