problems

It is a very convenient printer. But a week ago I cannot use it anymore because there is yellow ink on the printed pages. I replaced the cartridge, but it doesn't help. I tried everything but it's useless.
Hopefully Epson will give some garantee?!?

Don't even waste your time looking at other brands

Compared to all the other brands I have become disappointed with (and I have used all of them), the build quality, print speed, and print quality of the Epson WP-4540 is far above my expectations. After spending a few minutes getting the wireless running on an 802.11a/b/g/n WPA network, I set it up on a Mac running Snow Leopard in a few minutes and installed on a Windows XP machine in as much time. FAX setup was a breeze, as well.
Very nice product and I hope to be using it more than the ~16 months I got out of the non-Epson machine it replaced.

Repeated attempts to install printer following the instructions provided have failed. Removed and downloaded software still unsuccessful. It appears Epson software and IE 11 are not compatible.

One MAJOR flaw

This printer does a lot of things extremely well... but has one HUGE drawback if you print photos and/or greeting cards on your printer.
It will not print borderless photos. No way, no how. How is that possible in this day and age, from a company like Epson, with their top-of-the-line product?
Amazing.

Well--The WP-4540 Ultimate all-in-one---is all that Epson states and then some!!!I am not new to printers etc. Since April of 2011, I have had a nightmare of many disappointing experiences with a new Dell V515W "all-in-one"and also their technical staff.Lucky-for-me,I decided several weeks ago to check recommendations and reviews C-Net and also product reviews at Dell---and then I decided I must trash my new Dell V515W---and that has turned out to be a real blessing.I saw the Espon WorkForce Pro Series ads on the C-Net and then read the other Epson reviews and went ahead an purchased the WP4540.IT IS GREAT!!!INSTALLED EASILY(on Windows 7 Ultimate,64bit and 4 other computers)!!!I love it---Thanks Epson and C-Net.

Needless to say it's the best printer in the world in its class. However my focus here is every Workforce printer did not seem to grab Avery (Celan Edge) Business Cards (28878 and others) very well. I hope Epson engineers will research before next Workforce ???? releases. Hope they are even reading this.
