Both good and bad

First the good.
The ice makes are fantastic. I figured being rather small the top maker would run out constantly but it keeps up and the bottom is fast as well.
Very good looking fridge, great color and easy to clean
The inside lighting is bright and covers all area well.
Now the bad.
The ice makes are loud. The fridge is loud as well, lots of fan and compressor noise.
The panel controls seems extensive but are very limited. The panel marking are have low contrast are not back lite until you press a button so setting it without good light is hard. The temp is very limited + - 7 degrees and there is no display for the actual temps in the Fridge, only what you set. I have yet to figure out how to turn off the annoying tones when you push a button.
The water/ice compartment is large BUT always seems to leave some water on the bottom. The bottom lip/shelf is flat and has no capacity to hold any spill. being a large opening its great for big glasses and water but if you don't hold the glass very close to the top for ice it flies everywhere.
The freezer has a place for a shelf on the inside of the door but does not come with one. It has very little compartment adjustments/dividers. One flimsy small sliding divider. basically it's one small top shelf and a big open bin.
This freezer has more frost in it than any fridge I've ever owned since "frostfree" freezers were invented

So far so good

Just had this about a day but it worked great out of the box. Cooled down to setpoint temperature in less than 4 hours. Build quality seems quite good. The thing is very attractive. Interior lighting is exceptional. Freezer organization bins and trays are very handy compared to an older GE model we had. There was a dent in the inside of one of the doors but we think the installers did that. One small peeve ... the protective plastic on the unit is really challenging to remove! The edges are like little fringes along edges ... it's gonna take a while to get it all off. Also, as is common with these high efficiency units, the fan motor runs almost continuously and you can definitely tell it's running while in the kitchen. It's not obnoxious in our opinion by any means but it takes a little getting used to compared to older less efficient units which tended to be dead silent.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We we were considering GE we noticed this unit. It had more features than what we needed but the price was great so why not get the bells and whistles!

Love my refrigerator! It has awesome great urea. The finish is great, doesn't show finger prints. The double ice maker is very convenient.
