I like the model and its arrangement

I like the features of this model and the variety of food storage options. I wanted a lower freezer and like its arrangement as well
Unfortunately there is a design flaw in the freezer compartment that causes the lower ice maker in the freezer compartment to freeze up before the water gets to the ice trays and the water overflows into the compartments and freezes solid. Water also closed out of the freezer onto the floor beneath the unit. What a mess. Apparently the freezing air fan-entry blows directly on the ice maker drip unit. This is a design flaw in the refrigerator according to the repair specialist who responded to my HELP call.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great looking Fridge

We have been looking at updating appliances for some time and come across the Slate color and it has changed the whole look of the room.

We have not even used this much and already have had lots of water on my hard wood floor, which is never good

love the doors and the lights

overall like this product, but not happy with the ice dispenser, i bought this in December and have had issues with the dispenser clogging up each time i have to take out the holder and remove ice that is trapped there. i will be calling service soon for this matter

Love the color-slate

Love my new fridge. It's quiet and roomy! Haven't filled all of the shelves or freezer yet. Glad I picked another GE product my old one of 20 yes is still working in our garage! And really glad I went with the slate color.
