I really wanted to love this fridge
on October 8, 2017

We have had our fridge fixed every few months. Time after time all the food in our fridge is lost because the fridge breaks down. It also leaked water and damaged our kitchen floor. I love the look of this fridge and the dual ice and water. But our fridge repairmen said they are at a loss how to fix it. We are out for countless repair bills and time.

We bought this two years ago. It looks very nice but from the time we plugged it in, it started making loud bangs, crackling noises, thump noise, it’s very loud. Very disappointed with that problem.

Water leaking
on August 12, 2018

We purchased a home with this unit installed and overall seems to work OK but it leaks water that pours out when you open the left side door. Has to be a slow drip that collects at the bottom of the door...it doesn't come out with the door closed, just when you open it. Any help would be appreciated.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buyers beware faulty water filter.
on October 18, 2020

We have had this refrigerator for a little while. It has worked great until recently. The water flow has recently has gotten very slow, and sometimes doesn’t work at all. We had a repair man come look at it to see what was wrong. The repair man told us that GE has changed the filter on this model recently and the new filters doesn’t fit correctly. There is no way to get the filters we need now, so we just have to deal with it or buy a new refrigerator. This one is still under warranty, but there is still no way to fix it. Love the refrigerator but hate that it can’t be fixed from what we were told. So buyers beware this is a faulty product.

Hello Harris7 - Thanks for the feedback. If you're getting slow water from the water dispenser on your refrigerator, we suggest you check the filter. A partially clogged filter can keep water from flowing well. Filters should be changed every 6 months or when the water at the dispenser starts dispensing more slowly. To see if your have a clogged filter, remove the filter and install the bypass plug. Try the dispenser to see if the water flow improves. If so, your filter is clogged and needs to be replaced.
If you need the bypass plug and one was not supplied with the refrigerator or has been misplaced, one can be ordered at no charge by calling 1-800-432-2737.
If you have a new filter or the bypass in place and this is still occurring, please take advantage of your warranty and schedule an appointment with an authorized GE Service technician at 1-800-432-2737 or online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm
We hope this helps! Thanks for choosing GE Appliances.
