Lights works but nothing else does

I just got this fridge and got it plugged in and hooked up. The lights work but water won't run nor will the fridge get cold. Looked through the online manuals and held the fridge / ice maker for 3 seconds and has it turned on but nothing cold comes out in the fridge not do I hear it running. I am very sad because I generally like GE products and even own stock in the company. Looks like I need to find a company to do business with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My friend has exactly the same GE refrigerator. It has had it for more than a year and it has been working perfectly. Thanks to my friend who recommended to me I got rid of my other brand refrigerator and immediately I bought my own.

Bought this refrigerator in January 2016. The first refrigerator that was delivered had to be replaced because the frame was warped and the doors would not close properly.
Now it is the end of March 2016 and the refrigerator is going out. By this I mean the water dispenser is not working, no inside lights and I don't hear the compressor running.
Only good thing is I bought the 3 year extend warranty so this anchor is not costing me more money than expected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Finger prints, etc. every time you get close! After less than 1 week I am not happy. Delivery caused a couple of small scratch's and one small dent.
