TWO ICEMAKERS IN THE REFRIGERATOR COME IN HANDY FOR PARTIES AND OVERNIGHT GUESTS. THE REFRIGERATOR EXTERIOR IS WONDERFUL SMUDGE PROOF AND BEAUTIFUL, EASY CARE.

Frustrated!

Just built a new house, purchased all new slate GE appliances(frig, dishwasher, stove,microwave) On my 2nd frig, because first one the freezer cooled down to 55 and frig down to 41. The vent fan on microwave not working. And my dishwasher is not taking water. Also don't like that can't see current temps of frig and freezer sections, just the pre-set temps.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I can hear the noisy from my living, and the indicator on the door is hard to see unless you press them, nor i have to put all drink in rightist door, too heavy

Huge!

Had this fridge for about a month now. The thing looks great! Our old fridge was a side by side. We love the bottom drawer freezer because it's so much easier to see what's in there. In the old fridge I was constantly having to take ten things out to find what I was looking for. Both the fridge and freezer are very roomy and well lighted. Overall we are very happy with it.

We were not really looking to buy a new fridge but our local Lowes store had this unit on a major clearance. Once we found out the issue (we had to ask a store associate because we could not find it, it was a TINY dent on the front door), we could not believe the price! So we snapped it up. We have had side by sides most of our married life and this will be a welcome change.

Excellent refrigerator

This is an excellent refrigerator. Tons of space and the slide away shelf allowing for pitchers and other tall items is very convenient and useful. I only wish I could have bought the slate instead of the stainless. The appliances that came with the house were stainless, so I wanted everything to match and stainless tends to show fingerprints more so than slate. But, it is still beautiful, as are all of my appliances (all GE) and I am definitely satisfied with my purchase. The dual ice makers are great for entertaining, no more buying bags of ice when friends come over. The LED lights inside make finding what you are looking for fast and easy, even in the middle of the night.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It died within months of purchasing it. I call GE and they sent a tech out to fix it, five days later.
