The part that keeps the food cold in the upper part went out about a week after I got it. Now since it has been fixed it is fine.

Tons of space, makes a great amount of ice with the ice dispenser in the fridge and freezer, has great climate control drawers, and looks nice and sleek.

Not up to GE standards

This model was a replacement for another GE refrigerator I had purchased 11 months prior.and could not be repaired, but I have already had to have GE service repair this model 30 days after delivery. So far no more problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The unit is noisy when it is running can hear it in another room. Disappointed about dispenser can not read buttons in low light. The light above function buttons could have lit up the words on the buttons after all it is a touch screen. Have some small amount of foam insulation leakage at door hinge area. It has been cooling fine. The lighting inside is great no dark corners for leftovers to hide in.
