Awesome fridge

We are in love with this fridge. Plenty of space ,dual ice makers ensure we never run out. Specific fruit veggies and deli settings make our produce last longer than ever.

Pretty | A bit noisy | Took some getting used to

Nice-looking fridge! I love the LED lights and the door chimes (yeah, it's the little things sometimes :), but it does run noiser than our previous, 17-year-old GE side-by-side. The difficult thing about buying a new refrigerator is that you can't test drive it in the store. It definitely has more room than the old GE, but we ended up completely removing one shelf in order to accomodate our usual number of tall items. I also opted out of getting a model with the middle drawer that's accessible when the upper doors are closed. Now that I'm living with it, I find that I love the big middle drawer, but it's a little annoying (and probably less energy efficient) to have to open both doors to use the drawer. The two icemakers are definitely a plus, though!

Have had this for 6 months and have had to replace the entire refrigerator once and the fan twice. It's now making strange noises again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good fridge but they dropped features

We replaced our GFE29 with this unit. Unfortunately, the manual is wrong, you cannot display the current temperature of the fridge or the freezer like you could on the GFE29. Also, they dropped the small shelf that was on the door of the freezer compartment. We used that for small bags of nuts, etc.

A Good fridge

We haven't had this fridge long but so far its doing great. It's got plenty of space and 2 ice makers comes in handy. It does make a little noise from time to time but it's not bad.

GE Refrierator

I am pleased with the product overall. It is somewhat noisy. I is beautiful in appearance. However when we had only had it about 2 months, the fan motor burned out and we had to call service.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wonderful people at GE

I purchased my unit in July. Stopped working after two weeks and I contacted the retailer for an exchange. The retailer stated that I must contact GE service for repair which I felt unhappy about, but needing a fridge i contacted them anyway. I first called the automated line for repair and because I live so far from a repair shop it was going to be two and a half weeks before a serviceman could come out, so I called GE customer service and explained my situation. They were so helpful in resolving my problem. The people at GE made it seem as if I had gone back in time when companies really cared for the people that purchased there product. it took no time for the gentleman on the phone to come up with a solution and GE stood by there promises to resolve my issue by an acceptable time.i wish more companies would follow the standard GE has set for customer relations. Again thank you for being so helpful and I will always be a loyal GE customer.
