Buy another make and/or model!!!

This one looks good and is beautifully lit, but has been terrible on performance. We had 4-5 service calls on the first one (ice maker, compressor, fan and general condensation on refrigerated items) before it was replaced. Second unit and the repair calls started today (ice maker, condensation and compressor). Pick something else!!!

Bought refrigerator Feb 2015. Got it replaced in April due to defective fan and motherboard. Replacement lasted 6 wks before fan it suffered the same fate. However this time a very good GE repairman came out replaced fan with an upgraded fan and did a computer update on it said he was sure this resolved the problem. So far so good it's been 2wks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

5 Months and 3 Recirculating Fan Replacements

We were excited to get this high end refrigerator, but have had GE Service come to replace the recirculating fan 3 times. I've about had it and if it doesn't stay fixed this time, then I'm sending it back and getting something entirely different.

Large and roomy

This replaced a large side by side that was going out. It cost more than I was expecting to pay but it is well worth it. Everything is easy to access with the french doors and the freezer on the bottom make sense since we are in the frig 90% and the freezer 10% of the time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fan sucks

We have had the fridge for 5 months and the technician has had to come out twice already to replace the fan. Every time he comes out he brings a new "upgraded" fan. Why not put the upgraded fan in the fridge in the first place. Annoyed!

I spent a year and a half saving money to get a new fridge. My new Ge has been awful, noting but problems, very very disappointed.
