Good freezer location

Unimpressed for the price

EnergyStar??? It runs constantly! This thing is noisy and loud, constantly is buzzing, clunking. My electric bill went UP 30.00 a month!
The shelving is horrible you can't fit a full sized milk carton on the main shelves, only on the door. The deli, meat beverage drawer is useless, you don't just have one thing in that drawer so the temperature control is a wasted feature

This refrigerator has some great features. Double ice-maker, electronic controls, good organization on the inside. It is beautiful, I love the slate color. Pretty easy to clean both inside and out. There are two things that I'm not thrilled about. First, it runs constantly, and is not as quiet as the 20 year old fridge we replaced. I'm told this is due to the fact that it is high-efficiency. Apparently, there are seven motors in this thing, and it rotates which one is running. The other problem is something that has already been fixed. One of the motors stopped running. Everything froze in the bottom drawer of the fridge, and the top area got warm. GE sent a repairman, who was able to fix it in a few minutes. Everything has worked fine since then. This is a known problem; a recall has been issued, and GE has fixed the motor in refrigerators that are currently being built. This said, I'm pretty happy with the new fridge.

Love the Color!!

Bought this about 3 months ago. Love the 2nd ice maker. Doesn't have a dairy tray so I ordered one and put it in. It does drip water out of the water dispenser which is a bit annoying to continuously keep clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent interior layout

I like this refrigerator. The interior layout is very good and useful. The half sliding shelves make it easy to put tall pitchers inside. I like the color! It goes so well with dark cabinets and does not show any finger prints.
The one thing I would change is the "buttons" to change from water to ice on the door dispenser are sometimes difficult to hit and activate. Plus it would be nice if they were illuminated just a little so they are easier to see when it is dark.
Besides that I like this appliance.

This French door ref. compared to my side by side is like " where did the Dinosaur go". Did more research on buying a refrigerator then my Truck.
