Nice Fridge

We've had this fridge for about a month now and have been fairly happy with it. It has plenty of space and the two ice makers is a very nice feature. We do have two complaints on it, however. The first is that the buttons on the door for the ice maker do not light up. If you're trying to switch from ice to water in low light you basically have to guess where the button is. The other complaint, which has been covered in many other reviews, is that it is loud. It does nothing quietly. You'll hear everything it does, from the compressor running to the ice maker filling. Neither issue is a deal breaker, just improvements that could be made.

There's no tray under the water dispenser so there's a lot of splashing on the ground. The interior design layout doesn't fit my family's needs, the refrigerator is constrained by odd height and depth layout while the freezer is unusually large. It's also started to make a loud humming noise after being in use for a month. I'll be calling to have that checked out. It looks nice, just not as functional as I had hoped!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this for our newly constructed home. It looked much bigger in the showroom. Now in use, seems much smaller. top ice maker takes forever and quite noisy through the night. Doesn't have enough space in fridge section.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this fridge is beautiful, it is spacious, love the over all amenities, except that no butter dish....but, I have already had to replace the motor and now I see the freezer light that is situated under the left fridge door is staying on even when the doors to both the freezer and fridge are shut. also this fridge is very very loud! not sure why so many problems with this fridge. I have always loved the GE products and have never had a problem with them!
