great scanner for the money

Very impressed with the scanned documents and pictures, no power supply just USB and installed and was used easily on multiple pc's and laptops. Very impressed.

Good photo scans

I bought this to scan in some of my old pictures and it is doing a good job. However I have yet to find the 4800 dpi as advertised. I don't think I would ever use it but it says it is there. Where??

Bought as an second scanner for documents and single images to reduce wear on an HP scanner with more options. HP Scanner is now discontinued so want to keep in service as long as I can. Also convenient to use with USB power and small footprint. I can take with me more convenient to pack than HP.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Affordable, General Purpose Scanner

Had it for a month or so. Using with a Mac running High Sierra. Recognizing this is Epson's entry level scanner, the software is really substandard, at least with the Mac. Very slow to launch. Very slow to scan. Very basic functionality. Struggled for aweeks trying to get the hardware buttons to work. They will only work if the ISA driver (required for Image Scan to work) is removed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality reproduction

I've had it about a month. I copies 3 or 4 photos simultaneously and keeps them separate. I have an Epson printer that scans and an old photo that did not scan well on the printer came out as an excellent reproduction on the V39.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought the V 39 scanner as an addition to my V 600 Epson scanner. The V 39 works just as good as the V 600, with good quality of scanning photos and documents.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got this as a Christmas present and love using it. It scans the pictures beautifully even ones that are in old albums with plastic covering them. My only thought on how they could improve this product is to work on the noise when it is scanning. It is quite loud and actually makes the scanner sound very cheap.
I would recommend this to a friend!
