Where is Product Serial Number?

I installed immediately after purchase. When I tried to register it asked for Product Serial Number. I could not find it until I picked it up and looked on the bottom. DUUUH??
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worked great for 1 year, then software glitch killed it

After 1 year of successful scans (Windows 10), this message started popping up: "Cannot communicate with the scanner." I uninstalled and reinstalled Epson's software multiple times, tried different USB ports, etc. Occasionally, I could get it working again, but after one scan, it would freeze. Support for troubleshooting this problem is nowhere on the "Support" page of Epson's website. FAQ's were no help. Surely, I'm not the only customer with buggy software issues. Come on Epson!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Its Ok. It doesn't have a power button so when the computer wakes the scanner cycles up.
When you press the buttons on the front the scanner slides back.

Good, inexpensive scanner

I own a Mac. I can scan documents well of various sizes, but the scanner is not programmed to perform all its functions with a Mac. For example, the "Easy Photo Scan" function does not work with a Mac. There is an "EPSON Software Updater" function, but it has nothing new to make the scanner more compatible with my up-to-date Mac. Very disappointing!
I would recommend this to a friend!
