Great all purpose scanner

I was surprised how light is was. It also only uses the electricity from the usb.port. I wish is included a usbc to usbc cable. It worked the first time and was compatable with my solftware. Running windows 10 home. Worked with photoshop
I would recommend this to a friend!

Let's get Real! Of course I had to update the software to have it work properly with Windows 10. Don't you update your software?

Great portable scanner!
I am Truly Amazed at what I got for the price!
The features of this portable scanner, compared to what I would have had to pay for another brand, are AWESOME.
You CANNOT beat the quality, or ease of use.
I just connect it to my laptop, and I am Ready To Go!

Great Everyday Scanner

Got this about 2 weeks again and have already gotten through nearly 300 old photo’s we inherited from grandparents. This is a great everyday workhorse scanner.

Drivers for macOS 10.14 and 10.15

Product did not work well with Sierra, now with Catalina, icons do not appear on dock. What a waste of time, all that should be straightforward.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It replaced an HP Lite and the V39 has similar, but improved features. I could do without the permanent blue light on the front and the random noise (as if it was scanning). Besides that I am happy with the scanner and the customer service.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great for Small Projects

Epson Perfection V39 is an excellent and reasonably inexpensive option for simple color and black and white scanning functions. Epson scanning software can be a bit clunky and very slow for long text documents, but it works for small projects.
It is lightweight, and somewhat flimsy and fragile, though. It is not designed for commercial use. I would recommend one of the larger EPSON scanners with more features for those who have a lot of scanning to do or for those who want to scan negatives and slides as well.

Great Photo Quality

I have been waiting for a while now to purchase a new photo scanner because I have had trouble finding ones that really get the picture quality. Especially with very old photos. I was thrilled once I started scanning my grandparents photos from the 40s to find that it looked like the actual photo itself! I LOVE this scanner. It's a little slow, maybe 15-20 sec per photo but you're not going to get a high quality scan with a speedy scanner. It's only needed a reboot once so far, and that's after I had been scanning photos for almost 2hrs.
I would recommend this to a friend!
