I wish it worked.

I used the scanner once when I first purchased it. I don't need it often but recently had a job to scan and now it does not even turn on. I really need to use it now and I can't. No one sells flatbed scanners hardly, maybe there is no longer a need for them. This purchase makes me wish I didn't need one as well.

Hi Pazzy, we thank you for your feedback and apologize for the issue you were experiencing with your V39 scanner. The scanner is powered by a USB connection with your computer. The issue is likely caused by a Microsoft Windows power-saving feature that basically turns off USB ports when they aren’t active. This is the reason why it would not turn ON. Please disable the USB selective suspend setting on your computer. Great slim profile scanner with just one usb plug to worry s

I’ve had my V39 scanner for a while now. It’s dependable and produces great quality output. I’d love to see a refresh of it for USB-C. Currently I’m using a USB 2.0 Type B to USB-C cable for my 2018 MacBook Pro. It works well in conjunction with Preview for scanning in PDF’s and pictures.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So Far, So Good, But Really Noisey!

The scanner has worked well in my first few uses but the whining sound from the scanner motor has me concerned on how long the scanner will continue to operate. My Epson Perfection 2400 Photo scanner makes a little noise but no where near as concerning as that from the Perfection V39 scanner.
