Good value

I bought this for a quicker way to scan pictures. My all-in-one printer is slow and the quality is not great. This is faster with better quality. However, I can only seem to scan from my computer screen and not with the buttons on the actual device. I can't seem to figure out how to rectify that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this unit to replace my 15 year old flatbed scanner. YES. Fifteen. When windows XP was the operating system of that time. I use the scanner once in a blue-moon, if I get a hard copy document that needs to be signed. SO, it happened that I had documents that needed to be signed and scanned ( i offered to take a photo and send it, but they declined, IT HAS TO BE SIGNED). I pulled out my flatbed scanner but I couldn’t find any drivers that would run on Windows 10. Pulled the trigger on this scanner. Thie scanning is fast. Done in 15-20 seconds.
PROS: 1. I like the PDF stitching function, where you can scan multiple documents and merge them together as one PDF. 2. The automatic document alignment is a nice function as well. 3. You can also scan multiple pictures and the scanner detects and saves the scanned photos separately.
CONS: 1. Needs a longer USB cable 2. USB-C connectors not microUSB

There is one problem I am having: When I scanning over and over again, the scanner stops working and I have to close the application and re-open it to continue.

Portable with quality output.

Bought one 6 months ago. Loved it's light weight and easy handling, but worried about being it being too fragile. Sure enough knocked it off my desk with a casual sweep of my forearm rendering it unoperable. Bought 2nd one 2 weeks ago; trying to be more careful about its placement. So, high quality scanning, very portable and somewhat fragile. Maybe a removable base with some weight would protect it from inadvertent user movements.

I had to replace my $700 previous scanner. This scanner is an excellent value for the price, I compare the quality of this scanner to what my previous scanner had done, and it exceeds my expectations. Very pleased!

A well performing scanner at a reasonable price

I bought this a few weeks ago and am quite pleased with it. It is compact, the software is reasonable. The scanner gets power from the USB cable that transfers data between the scanner and the computer. To turn it off, just unplug the USB. I have limited USB ports on the front of my PC, so I purchased a USB extension cable just unplug the scanner USB from the extension to turn it off.
