Excellent Quality and Ease

I bought the scanner to digitize old photo albums with memories I wanted to save. It is much better resolution than I expected. I can put a entire scrapbook page in the scanner and it usually separated the scan results into each individual photo on the page. Best $89.99 I ever spent!

Scan color is not always acurate

I needed a thin scanner - but even when I scan at 600 the colors are often dark - I cant get them adjusted to have a great color. And the instructions do not really go over the scan page - I have to reconnect often - but I will color correct with Adobe - it will just take longer to accomplish

Sharp Images! Super Easy

This is actually much better than I expected. It automatically gets the shape of the image that you're scanning. No need to do any extra cropping (Unless there's someone you need out of the photo :) ) Some of my photos even came out even sharper. Really great buy.
It does require work to do the lid lifting however, I think the feeders might damage my photos so the flatbed is a good option if you have the same concerns

I bought the scanner for digitalizing old photos. It works great however it took me some time to figure out how to use it and my laptop together.

Bought this to scan tax documents. The directions look complicated; set up isn't. Directions *could* be easier. For example how about this: 1.On your computer, go to Epson.com/scanner/drivers. Select your product. Click Download. Click Install. Connect the scanner to your computer. 5.Read the on line manual.
