Epson Perfection V39 Scanner

I purchased my 2nd. Epson Scanner, as my 1st. was in 1995. I have had great success with my previous scanner, so I purchased the Epson V39. I was looking for quality, and after several attempts to figure out how to use the new one, I figured out and I'm very satisfied. The scanning is by far greater then my previous, so I'm very satisfied with my new one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve owned an Epson Perfection for several years, despite it’s low price, its high quality! scans text, beautiful color and resolution, will even scan negatives to Print! I’m going to get another for a standby.

I purchase this scanner about a year ago and scanned about 2000 photos so far. Excellent quality photos, easy to use

You buy a cheap scanner, you get what you pay for. The quick scan feature is nice, much easier to use than wading through the software interface. But it frequently tells me my computer has lost connection with the scanner, which doesn't make sense because the message pops up when I've pushed a button on the scanner--if there's no connection, how does it know I've hit the button? You have to reboot the computer before it works again. The trick seems to be not to rename the PDFs before scanning more documents, which is a pain but at least I'm not rebooting all the time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use and quality is excellent

I bought this month (August, 2019) because I broke the glass on the previous Epson scanner. I love to use it. I use it to scan photos into my Mac computer and put them on DVD. The quality is excellent on both black & white and color. The scanner is very to set up and use.

Compact, Easy to Store, Quick to setup and go.

I bought this for mainly printed matter scanning, not photos. For this it is a good choice. It's easy to get started. It works with the Epson Scan program that works for my other Epson scanners. It's also compact for storage and quick to setup when needed.

A great Flatbed scanner for documents or photos

I was visiting relatives on the other side of the country. Many of them had old photographs that were damaged and fading with age. I already had several scanners at home but none of them was as portable as the V39. I’ve been using it for more than a year on both Mac and PC’s and it has never let me down. I’d highly recommend this product. Fast and easy to use.
